Section Management

To manage your sections, first Check Out the book. Only Editors-in-Chief and Editors may check out the book.

Adding a Section

To add a new section, click on the + sign above or below an existing section.

Give the new section a name then click Add Section.

The new section will appear on the book ladder, ready to add pages.

Renaming a Section

To rename a section, click on the menu icon (three dots) in the upper right corner of the section. Choose Rename from the options.

Type in your new section name, then click Rename section. The section will display the new name.

Deleting a Section

To delete a section, click on the menu icon (three dots) in the upper right corner of the section. Choose Delete to remove the section and every page contained within it.

Deleting a section also deletes all pages within it – this cannot be reversed! To avoid permanent loss of your pages, be sure to move them into another section before deleting the section. Technical support services cannot restore lost pages.

Confirm the deletion of the section, and the section and its pages will be removed permanently.

Moving a Section

To move a section, first
switch on the Move Section button at the bottom of the screen.

This will collapse the sections to a flat list.

Drag your selected section into a new position on the ladder.

Last, turn off the Move Section toggle off to open the section drawers again.
