Assigning Pages to Team Members

Pages may be assigned to one or more team members. Team members assigned with the role of Staffer may only edit the pages assigned to them.

Editors and Editors-in-Chief may use the page highlight feature to quickly see what pages they should work on. Click on the Highlight dropbox at the bottom of the page, then select Assigned to Me to ghost out pages not assigned to you.

Assigning by the Page

To assign a team member to an individual page, first hover over the page, then access its menu – choose Assign to.

First, checkmark one or more team members in the left column, then click on the > arrow to move them to the right column. Click Save to complete the page assignment.

Assigning by the Section

To assign an entire section to one or more team members, first, check the book out.

Click on the section’s menu, then choose Assign to.

First, checkmark one or more team members in the left column, then click on the > arrow to move them to the right column. Click Save to complete the page assignment. Note that a warning will appear if some team members have already been assigned to individual pages in the section.

Be sure to check the book back in when section assignments are completed.
