JFIF file error

Certain Windows 10 users may find that images and backgrounds downloaded from the Studio Source Content Catalog or other online sources will appear as jfif format files on their computer, rather than the expected jpeg format.

This is a Windows 10 error – the files are being mis-assigned when they are saved to the computer. Unfortunately, renaming the files will not fix the problem, and a permanent fix on the computer is required in order to upload the content to the yearbook software.

The steps to fix this problem are found in the following third-party article: How to Stop Windows 10 from Saving JPGs as JFIFs

If you are using a school computer or are nervous about making the changes recommended in the article, ask your school IT person for assistance or a trusted computer technician for help.
